S4BB Limited let us know that they have released an all new application called App Task Manager for BlackBerry Smartphones. This handy utility application shows the user all the applications that are currently running on the device. Even the apps that run silently in the background will shown in App Task Manager. Once opened, the user will get detailed information on the running apps like name, version, space and much more. This differs from the application menu in the device options as it shows only the application running.

To add on, this is also a BBM-Connected application, although I’m not too sure of its usefulness. One feature that i yearn for is also to be able to kill or stop an app that is running, though I do know its impossible due to the nature of the BlackBerry OS.
